Dumpsypsurf : No credit card has a low APR. You should be choosing a credit card based on features you want, such as: Cash back or Flyer miles or points or no annual fee or etc.

SuissogsagSig1985 : The interest rate shouldn't matter because you shouldn't be using a credit card under any circumstances unless you are paying it off IN FULL every month. If you are doing that, the interest rate is effectively zero.

Also, find a card with no annual fee.

pypeMuttutice : I've download GTK+ 2 but I cannot compile the program based on whats on the tutorial at https://developer.gnome.org/gtk-tutorial/stable/c39.html using the commands:
gcc base.c -o base `pkg-config --cflags --libs gtk+-2.0`

It comes up with an error saying pkg config is unknown. I later found out that this is because that's a linux command. So what I want to know is how do I compile this simple gtk program below on windows? Can you also give me the list of steps on what I need to change the PATH to after downloading and also ensure that the compilation process is clear. The simple code is as following:
#include <gtk/gtk.h>

int main( int argc,
char *argv[] )
{
GtkWidget *window;

gtk_init (&argc, &argv);

window = gtk_window_new (GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL);
gtk_widget_show (window);

gtk_main ();

return 0;
}

Please help me out, various sites haven't proved useful

wattplailky : all compilers use Environment variables to access Search paths for includes.
in other words pkg-config lives somewhere and you must make sure something is pointing to it.
at a dos prompt where you type in the gcc command type in SET to SEE your environment variables ther should be one for INCLUDES and one to point to pkg-config so it seems to be called pkg_config_path from a search on the internet. it looks superfluous anyway for windows.
it seems to HELP set other GCC options for you. just write a bat file to do that.

Vytrar1tet : Hey, my question is a bit programming related! hehe..

Here is goes, what I am having is ASP.NET as the server-side language, and will use some jQuery for the client side.

I have been asked by a client to build a tool to check page ranks of the websites, by using any keywords. He has not asked for a website! Just a keyword. The basic search engines are, you know Google, Bing, Yahoo! etc. He asked for just these 3.

I know there is a way to check that, but I am not able to. I tried a link but that gave me a Sorry. Google said that my URL was not clear, and hey error wasn't 404!

So I want to know if there is a simple link to check a keyword page rank, like when I write "Afzaal", I should get 10 links (As they are supported by Google Instant) for each keyword, showing the top results on that page. What can I write to get that?

tinacligath : I am a C programmer trying to teach myself Python. I've been doing all the problems in this book I checked out. Now I am stuck. Can someone show me how to do this. I don't understand the dict function.

You have been given the following lists of students and their scores

names=['Joe', 'Tom', 'Bob', 'Emily', 'Sue']

scores=[10, 23, 13, 18, 12]
Write a function make_scores_dict that takes as arguments two lists and returns a dictionary with the names as the key and the scores as the values.
Call your make_scores_dict with the above two lists and store the dictionary return value in a variable.
Using the dictionary computed above, print the score for Emily.
Add to the dictionary a score of 19 for Diane.
Update the score for Sue to be 14.
Tom has just dropped the class, delete his score from the dictionary.
Calculate the mean of all the scores in the dictionary and print it out.
