Graiccaky : I am a 21 year old college student, my parents may be planning on kicking me out soon and I have little job experience and only a high school diploma. When I was 14, my brother died from a brain tumor. He was entitled in the realm of 25,000 dollars due to the death of my grandmother only years prior. He died before he could receive that money and in his will I was named the sole beneficiary. At the time I was too young to understand that I may have rightfully been entitled to that money once I reached majority yet somehow my sly and legally astute uncle was able to obtain that cash and disperse it amongst his siblings. I really need that money, especially given my scenario, is there any lawful action I can take to try and acquire all or some of that money back?

I need it to finance my tuition and general living expenses as I plan on transferring to a university and am not eligible for enough student aid to afford it. Half of my family are drug abusers and should have never received that inheritance. My uncle is a wealthy guy and is the families financial adviser, I presume he acted as my legal guardian and was responsible for safeguarding that money until I reached majority(correct me if I'm wrong). He has the finances to pay me back. Is he legally liable to reimburse me if I can prove that my brothers testament expressed a desire for that money to be left in my name and my name alone?

I feel I've been had by a greedy vulpine trickster and would like to retrieve what is rightfully mine. My main question here is do I actually have a case and how strong is it? Do you think a competent attorney could win this? I would hate to lose and be in disfavor with the family, but if I win, I feel the family would support my decision to have pursued this. Thank you for any responses, I need all the advice I can get before I seek legal consultation. I want to make it in life and be a productive prosperous member of society, I feel this is my big chance and seems to be my only one way to do something about it.

Vidsgaga : Only a lawyer looking at the settlement, the will and the terms and conditions under which the funds were used and released can tell you that.

Daudiodia : You can try to sue for the money and your legal fees but if you lose you could end up further in debt.

brilsBuri : It sounds like you need to do some serious investigating. IF your brother, or his estate had a claim his death does not, under usual conduct, forgive the claim. If you were actually due this, and he was alive when she died, his estate was due it. Once in his estate (he owns it) once Grannies estate was settled it would pass to your brother or his estate. When his estate was probated if you were ruled due this money, the court would name (or appoint) a representative to manage the funds until you reached majority or whenever your brother directed.

When all is said and done you need a probate lawyer. Only he/she has the expertise to handle such a problem. It will cost you, but 80% of something is better then 100% of nothing. Consider contacting your County or State Bar association. They will give you some names who have expertise in probate law, and will know his/her history of complaints (or can advise you what State agency could tell you).

Smaluemelmisy : Hi

I recently got myself a new job after having been on Job Seekers allowance for 2 months.

However, I don't get paid until 19th September, since my job's company payroll works on they pay you for the previous Month on the 19th, I started August 1st.

Is there anything I can claim in a few weeks to tide me over? I have 105 pounds from my last JSA payment in the bank, but some has to go on bills, and rent etc, so that will be gone in a couple of weeks.
Ah ok, so when that runs out by the 19th August, I simply starve for a Month? Proper answers please people.

Audinkunwindy : Whether you like Obama or not i think the fact is that he is the king the Bible says will be a raiser of taxes and die a few days after that and then be replaced by the Anti-christ who was one ofthe former 7 kings, or in this case former presidents!

When George W. Bush was president there were "5 former living presidents" until the death of Ronald Reagan on June 5, 2004! They were..........

1. Gerald Ford
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan
4. George H. W. Bush
5. Bill Clinton

They are the 5 fallen kings in Rev. 17:10

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

That means that George W. Bush was the 6th king who is mentioned as (and one is) which means present tense! Or that he would be the king or in this case the president at the point in time that these 5 former pres. were alive! Also the 7th king (Barack Obama) who is yet to come was also alive at that very point in time!

The Bible also says that Barack Obama the 7th king will die in office and be replaced by the Anti-christ who is one of these former kings/presidents!

Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

In Danial 11 it says that the king/pres. just before the Anti-christ will be a raiser of taxes and he will die within a few days after that, neither in anger, nor in battle! That raiser of taxes is Obama the 7th king in Rev. 11:10 and that tax increase just might be "obamacare!"

Dan. 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Dan. 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
