AgapeMo : In 1992, while still a law student at Yale, Jones participated as a volunteer legal monitor for a protest of the Rodney King verdict in San Francisco. He and many other participants in the protest were arrested. The district attorney later dropped the charges against Jones. The arrested protesters, including Jones, won a small legal settlement. Jones later said that "the incident deepened my disaffection with the system and accelerated my political radicalization."[18] In October 2005 Jones said he was "a rowdy nationalist"[15] before the King verdict was announced, but that by August of that year (1992) he was a communist.[15] His activism was also spurred on by witnessing racial inequality in New Haven, Connecticut: "I was seeing kids at Yale do drugs and talk about it openly, and have nothing happen to them or, if anything, get sent to rehab...And then I was seeing kids three blocks away, in the housing projects, doing the same drugs, in smaller amounts, go to prison."[13]

When he graduated from law school, Jones gave up plans to take a job in Washington, D.C., and moved to San Francisco instead.[15] He became a member[19] of a "socialist collective" called Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM) that protested against police brutality.[

LoonryAnync : Napolitano's replacement will be another rabble rouser.

But, we are getting used to it. Hopefully, Obama may surprise us with someone who is competent and understands that Americans want our laws upheld.

xiaozh5p : You have to declare them! Otherwise it's fraud. You can only take things for your own use, not for everybody else. They will sure be suspicious if you wanna sell them in Canada. They won't let you go only because you say you've wanted them for a Long time!! This ain't gonna work!

zakladykliczko : Hi...

I'm an exchange student in Liverpool and want to travel to Belfast. I've got a few questions to ask:

1.) Is it safe to travel there right now? I've been hearing news of riots in the city. I was thinking of going at the end of August for just a day trip.

2.) What is the main mode of transportation? How do i get from the airport to the city and from the city to the famous landmarks cheaply and efficiently? I was thinking of maybe getting a hop-on/hop-off bus tour as I am just 1 female traveling, would that be a good idea?

3.) Any famous place/restaurant you may want to recommend?

Will deeply appreciate your answers. Thank you very much.

TarQuarmDap : Marching season so the young drunks are out blaming the marching for their trouble making and generally causing trouble for a few days in a couple of areas........ its a habit they have gotten into ......

1. Yes it is safe, Belfast is a great city and NI a great place
2 Same as anywhere else in the UK, Bus , Taxi, Train......... I dare not ask what you thought? "female traveling, would that be a good idea" why not, there is no issue with a female travelling alone in NI. You want City airport( George Best airport), NOTInternational.....just outside you catch a bus into the city...a train or a taxi, very easy straight road in.
3 Titanic Quarter, murals tour and the black taxi's are the way to go on that one or the open topped tourist bus from outside 'the blackman' ( statue outside Belfast Met city centre) 21 Social restaurant is lovely it is in the old part of the city the Catherdral quarter along with lots of lovely little places with fab food, Cafe Conor is also nice in the Queens quarter near Ulster Museum and the Lyric
